The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity Southeast consists of individual, corporate and educational AHDI members who reside in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee or Georgia.  You are automatically a member if you live in one of these states.  Membership in AHDI-Southeast is free.

A new year has begun and boy, was it fast!  When I was a little girl, I would hear my mother talk about "time flying" and I would think to myself "no, she's got to be kidding."  However, I know now what she was talking about.  And, speaking of time flying, would you believe the Board of AHDI-Southeast has already started looking for places to hold our Fifth Annual World Famous Retreat!  It will probably be in the Great Smokey Mountains.  We've got our resident chef/retreat-location-finder - and you can add many more names to that list - Beth Watts searching in her spare time (!).  Information will be posted here and on our Facebook page (SE-AHDI) when we have any.
  

DID YOU KNOW?  If your CE cycle ends this year, you don't have enough credits and you're freaking out, you can go to the AHDI website and take quizzes which are FREE! Just go to www.ahdionline.org, click on Member Center, My Benefits and Online CECs. You read an article (and there are 100s to choose from for whatever category you need, i.e. CM, MTT, etc - or, if you're like me, you have Journals and Plexus stacked to the ceiling!) then take the quiz and print/save for your records. Last fall, I made myself sit down three nights in a row and take three quizzes per night. Easy as pie! Let me know if you need more information.
